More muscle more muscle how do I get more muscle? When it comes to building muscles and doing exercises to get more muscle, everyone that works out is looking for the latest tip on how to build more muscle. What is the other question that always seems to follows that how to build more muscle question? How can I build muscle and how can I do it fast? That is the way of the world though isn’t it? We want the results and we want them yesterday!
So what is the best way to build muscle? Well if you are an avid exerciser than let’s go right into the routine you have. Are you a gym rat spending all your time lifting dumbbells and stacks of weight on machines? Have you reached a plateau in your progress? The best thing you can do to push beyond your present plateau or any other for that matter is to change your workout, all of it! Junk the whole routine and start from scratch!
That may seem harsh but if you really want to push your body to all new limits and beyond then you need to be constantly changing your work out. I’m not talking about using different machines to do the same exercise either. The muscles in your body remember repetitions very quickly and when it does that’s when your muscles start to adjust and compensate for the exercises you do thus slowing down and even stopping the growth process.
I personally don’t like to do the same routine for more than three weeks at this point and believe me it took me a lot of years to learn that three weeks was the sweet spot for me. Some of you may like two or four try not to go more than four weeks though. There are enough training tips, videos and magazines with different routines to keep anyone busy for a life time. Variety is key and the spice of life and your muscles will reward you big time with the more variety you give them. For example I have weeks when it’s all about dumbbells and machines and then other weeks where I do nothing but push ups pull ups with plyometric exercises. There is plenty of free information out there for everyone, leave no exercise stone unturned! Try them all and you will be amazed at the growth and speed in which you will see results.

Yea, I need a new routine…well actually I just need a routine. Exercising on the WiiFit really doesn’t qualify as exercise.
